Six companies with Israeli capital were registered in Turkey in February 2018, that is two companies more than in the same period of 2017, according to a report of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The report says the total capital of Israeli companies registered in February 2018 totaled 550,000 Turkish liras as compared to 510,000 liras in the same period of 2017.
In total, 58,422 foreign companies were registered in Turkey in 2017.
In 2017, the number of German companies registered in Turkey stood at 428, Syrian companies – 256, Iranian companies – 231, and Russian companies – 146. The remaining 57,225 companies accounted for other countries.
The number of foreign companies registered in Turkey rose by 14.38 percent in 2017 as compared to 2016.
