A large grain cleaning complex is planned to be built in Kazakhstan's Kostanay Region next year, Kazakh media reported with reference to the governor of the region, Amantai Balgarin.

The cost of the project is 500 million tenge. The governor said a canning shop worth 10 million tenge will also be built in the region next year. The projects will be implemented as part of a state program for industrial and innovative development.

"In total, 3 projects worth 1.33 billion tenge were implemented in the region," Balgarin said.

These were two livestock farms for fattening and breeding livestock for 1,160 heads of cattle and a slaughterhouse with a capacity of 528 tons of meat per year. This year these enterprises produced goods worth 375 million tenge.

The governor added that 23 projects worth 1.74 billion tenge were also implemented in Kostanay. They included the construction of grain collection stations, livestock complexes, meat processing shops, etc.
