Total capital of Israeli companies registered in Turkey increases

In October 2018, 27 companies with Israeli capital were registered in Turkey, which is similar with the same month of 2017, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend Nov. 20.

In October 2018, 27 companies with Israeli capital were registered in Turkey, which is similar with the same month of 2017, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) told Trend Nov. 20.

The total capital of Israeli companies registered in October 2018 amounted to 14 million Turkish liras, while in October 2017, the total capital of registered Israeli companies was 2.8 million liras, TOBB noted.

"In October, the number of companies registered in Turkey increased by 2.24 percent, and the number of registered cooperatives increased by 19.70 percent," TOBB stated.

The state agency noted that in October 2018, 7,081 companies and 79 cooperatives were registered in Turkey.

TOBB also noted that in January-October 2018, some 71,907 companies and cooperatives were registered in Turkey.

TOBB noted that the number of closed companies decreased by 8.72 percent, and the number of closed cooperatives decreased by 11.82 percent in the first ten months of 2018.

In October 2018, 248 bank branches opened and 203 bank branches closed in Turkey.

The official exchange rate for Nov. 20 is 5.3327 TL / USD.
