Iran Customs lifts goods export ban except diary products via Soomar boarder

Iran Customs Administration has lifted the export ban of goods, except for dairy products, through the Iran-Iraq Soomar boarder.

Managing Director of Kermansah Customs Khalil Heydari has issued an announcement to all executive customs offices that exporting goods, except dairy products such as milk, cheese and yoghurt are allowed, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

"In regards to resolving obstacles in exporting goods through Soomar boarder, hereby export of goods are allowed from June 1,2019 and the Iraqi side is ready for Iran's export goods. It should be noted exports of dairy products are still to be avoided," the announcement stated.
