Wind park worth almost 20 billion tenge will be launched in Kazakhstan’s Mangystau region, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.
The “green” project will be launched in Kazakhstan’s Fort Shevchenko city, which is an administrative center of Tupkaragan district of the region. The park is to be launched in 2020, and the estimated cost of the park construction equals to 19.6 billion tenge.
“The output capacity of the plant is to amount to 42 MW. Following its commissioning, up to 12 new work places will be created,” the report said.
The launch of the park will support the decrease of electricity demand in the region and provide both operating and future industry ventures with electricity.
