Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan sign documents for development of beneficial co-op

Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan expressed hope for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation, Trend reports with reference to press office of prime minister of Kazakhstan.

The hope was expressed within the framework of the meeting between Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov.

Askar Mamin also participated in the VIII meeting of Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council.

“We possess all necessary means for implementation of existing potential of trade turnover increase,” said Mamin.

He further noted that the decisions made during the meeting will lead to a strengthening of cooperation between countries and will give a major impetus to bilateral economic relations.

A number of documents was signed within the framework of the visit, including: Plan of action of bilateral economic cooperation and tax administration between State Revenue Committee under the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan and State Tax Service under the Government of Kyrgyzstan; Memorandum of cooperation in realization of infrastructure projects between the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan and Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic.
