Baku, Azerbaijan, July 24
By Fakhri Vakilov - Trend:
Uzbek company “Golden Prime Fruit” started supplies of fresh peaches, apricots, grapes, plums and sweet cherries to Malaysia for the first time, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
In July of this year, exports of fresh fruits and vegetables amounted to five tons. A third shipment of about 1.5 tons has already been shipped from Uzbekistan.
The products were shipped in special packaging labeled with the “Made in Uzbekistan” mark.
“Fresh products have aroused great interest, and the company is considering the possibility of increasing the export of fruits to Malaysia,” the exporter said.
Currently, negotiations are underway with leading Malaysian retail chains.
Moreover, in August, it is planned to supply melons in addition to the existing product range.
