Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UEIT) hosted a meeting with representatives of private business in India, Trend reports referring to the UIET.
The parties discussed plans on the creation of joint ventures for the processing of wool and its export to India, as well as the opening of shopping centers.
The guests showed great interest in the projects implemented by UEIT for the development of natural resources and the production of potash fertilizers, the information reads.
UIET previously allocated a state loan worth up to $600 million for the construction of a potash fertilizer plant at the Tubigatan field in Turkmenistan’s Lebap Region.
It is expected that these products will not only meet the needs of agriculture in Turkmenistan, but will also allow the export of products that are in demand on the global market.
