Sugar production doubles in Azerbaijan

The total value of food production in Azerbaijan reached 2.081 billion manats in January-July 2019, which is 18.3 percent more than in the same period of 2018, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.

The production of beverages increased by 52.2 percent up to 273.865 million manats, while the production of tobacco products went up by 25.1 percent to 67.160 million manats in January-July 2019.

In total, food, beverages and tobacco products worth 2.422 billion manats were produced in January-July 2019, which is 23.4 percent more compared to January-July 2018.
