All airports of Moscow will be connected to Kazakhstan before the end of 2019, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia.

This change is related to the introduction of new schedule of air flights, which will enter into force starting from October 27, 2019, due to the main air carrier of Kazakhstan Air Astana switching from Sheremetyevo to Domodedovo.

These changes have been discussed by Minister Counselor of Kazakhstan to Russia Nurzhan Kadzhiakbarov and CEO of Domodedovo Igor Borisov. Regional General Manager of Air Astana Adel Dauletbek also participated in the meeting.

The switch of the air flights to the new airport will go without interruptions to the schedule. As reported, only flights from Nur-Sultan (11 flights a week) and Almaty cities (14 flights a week) will be switched to the new airport.

Participants of the meeting discussed issues related to providing fastest and most comfortable services to Air Astana passengers at the airport. Borisov noted that Domodedovo is constantly working on updating the airport’s infrastructure, so the airport will be able to provide the air company and its passengers with high quality service.

All air flights operated before October 27, 2019, will arrive at the Sheremetyevo airport according to the current schedule.

The Aeroflot company will go on operating flights via Sheremetyevo, SCAT will operate flights via Vnukovo airport and the Ural Airlines will go on using Zhukovsky airport.
