The creation of a new monitoring website will have a positive impact on the reform processes in the country, Director of the Azerbaijan's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Vusal Gasimli said.
Gasimli made the remark in Baku at the presentation of the monitoring and evaluation software of strategic roadmaps.
"The center carries out monitoring, evaluation and communication activities related to the activities envisaged in strategic roadmaps, as well as monitors and evaluates the activity being carried out in industrial parks, quarters and agricultural parks upon the order of state structures within their authority," the director said.
Gasimli also stressed that the implementation of reforms through digital platforms is the result of the president’s instructions on the implementation of sustainable and advanced international experience and approaches in Azerbaijan.
"The creation of a new website as a control institution not only will expand the possibilities of assessment, control, coordination and communications but also will have a positive impact on the reform processes in the country," the director said.
Gasimli emphasized that this new approach is relevant not only for Azerbaijan, but also for other countries.
"A new page of economic reforms in Azerbaijan is opening today," the director added.
Baku is hosting a presentation of the monitoring and evaluation software of strategic roadmaps on October 25, 2019.
It has been organized by BP and the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms.
