Turkey exported 2,221 units of motor cars to Georgia from January through October 2019, Trend reports referring to Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).
Motor cars totaling $54.3 million were exported from Turkey to Georgia.
In an annual comparison, Turkey increased the export of cars by 1.42 times. Over the same period last year, 1,556 units of vehicles were imported from Turkey to Georgia for a total of $38.4 million.
From January through October 2019, Turkey exported 22,291 tons of structures and parts of structures of iron or steel worth $35.7 million to Georgia.
In an annual comparison, Turkey increased the export of structures and parts of structures of iron or steel by 6,908 tons. Over the same period last year, 15,383 tons of structures of iron or steel were exported from Turkey to Georgia for a total of $27.6 million.
For ten months of 2019, total imports to Georgia from Turkey amounted to $1.3 billion. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $169.5 million to Turkey.
The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey from January to October 2019 exceeded $1.4 billion, which is 14.2 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
