By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:

The Lazzat Gida biscuit factory located in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is expanding the range of grocery products, a source in the factory told Trend.

“The issue is the production of packaged products,” the source added.

"The assortment of packages with almonds and pistachios is planned to be expanded,” the source said. “These products are in the greatest demand in the market. The products are fully sold regardless of the season. We also plan to diversify the assortment of confectionery and biscuits. In particular, we will open new production lines for the production of cookies, wafers and chocolate products.”

“During 10 months of this year, the factory's production volumes increased by only 10 percent compared to last year, however, we expect to achieve a better result next year,” the source said. “For this purpose, we consider all the possibilities associated with an increase in production capacity.”

“In accordance with the estimates, we will be able to increase the production volumes by several times by opening new production lines in the coming year," the source said.

The products of the factory have a certificate of conformity from the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The factory has been provided with modern Turkish equipment.
