Iranian Electrical Power Equipment Manufacturing and Provision Company (SATKAB) has been assigned to establish offices in foreign countries to export technical knowledge and equipment in power and water production, said the CEO of SATKAB.

"Iran is one of the fourth major gas turbine producers in the world. The country's water and power industry previously used to rely on imports for its needs, but today it has domestic capacity in this sector that can be exported," said Mohammad-Vali Alaedini, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The official has indicated that Iran has the capacity to fully produce gas plants and export them to other countries.

"Technical and engineering capacities of Iran's water and power industry has reached a point, at which we can construct power plants in the regional countries," Alaedini said.

"The offices abroad can help to increase the export of technical and engineering services and offer Iranian power sector a way to foreign market. The permanent presence of the industry representatives abroad is important for sale of Iranian products in order to identify demands in those countries," the CEO of SATKAB added.

"Water and power export is considered as Iran's export priority in technical and engineering sector. Iran's water and power industries' products meet global standards and can compete with famous brands," he said.
