Wheat planting continues in Turkmenistan’s Babadayhan District, Trend reports with reference to Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Farmers of the district affirm that the weather conditions this year have favorably contributed to the growth of the crop. Good results of growing heat ears have been achieved in Babadayhan.

The wheat grows on 28,700 hectares of land. Farmers started to prepare for the growth of wheat last year by making ready the arable land and selecting seeds.

The phase of wheat output in the tube has begun. This stage is considered as one of the most important. It is necessary to fertilize the plant so that it absorbs the largest amount of nutrients from the soil. This process is directly related to a good harvest.

Farmers should start the third vegetation irrigation. Watering will be organized if there is no rain. This year, special attention was paid to the fight against weeds and pests of grain for the complete preservation of the crops.
