The activity of 50 industrial enterprises will be resumed in the Golestan province in northeastern Iran in the current Iranian year (starting from March 20, 2020), said Hossein Toluian, chairman of the Golestan province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization,Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.
According to Toluian, 88 industrial enterprises have been restored in Golestan province since the implementation of the production development plan in 2016 and as a result, 343 people were employed.
Toluian added that 10 percent of the province's industrial enterprises operate with a production capacity of 80-100 percent.
"About 17.4 percent of enterprises do not operate, 26 percent of enterprises operate with a production capacity of 1-30 percent, 23 percent of enterprises with a production capacity of 30-50 percent, 23 percent of enterprises with a production capacity of 50-70 percent," he said.
There are 1,200 industrial enterprises in Iran's Golestan province.
