Uzbekistan plans to launch a large textile enterprise in Mirzaabad district, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek Bank Asaka.
The total cost of the launch of 'Finiba Tex' enterprise is 1.1 billion soum ($107,896).
"Currently, reconstruction of the building, where the enterprise will operate, is underway. Sewing machines and raw materials have already been purchased. The enterprise will be put into operation in July 2020," the message said.
After the launch of production at full capacity, enterprise will produce clothes in the amount of over 11 billion soum annually.
Moreover, it is planned to launch 18 new projects in Mirzaabad, Akalty and Sardobin districts of Syrdarya region to support entrepreneurship, create additional jobs.
The projects are worth almost 152 billion soum ($14.9 million), with their implementation 800 new jobs will be created. Asaka Bank of Uzbekistan will finance these projects.
