Iran reveals volume of loaded, unloaded cargo at Anzali port

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30

A total of 142,100 tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Anzali port of Gilan Province in southern Iran during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

During the reporting period, 19,200 tons of products were loaded and 122,900 tons were unloaded at the port.

“About 16,200 tons of products were exported and 120,900 tons of products were imported through the Anzali port,” the report said.

According to the report, 535 tons of products were loaded and 866 tons were unloaded in transit via the port.

During this period, 2,400 tons were loaded and 1,100 tons were unloaded at the port for other purposes, report noted.

In total, 5.45 million tons of products were loaded and 4.2 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports.

About 4.29 million tons of products were exported and 2.27 million tons of products were imported through Iranian ports in three months.
