As many as 644 cars were exported from Russia to Turkmenistan from January through May, Trend reports, citing statistics from the Eurasian Economic Commission.
According to statistics, 37 of the above-mentioned vehicles are designed to transport 10 or more people, while the total export value amounted to $1.591 million.
The total number of exported vehicles also includes trucks. In particular, during the reporting period, 528 trucks were exported from Russia to Turkmenistan for a total of $22 million.
The vehicles also included 79 special-purpose vehicles worth $7.5 million in total.
In addition to the 644 vehicles exported from Russia, six passenger cars for about $168,000 were exported from Kazakhstan and Russia to Turkmenistan during the reporting period.
The share of Russia in the export of passenger cars is $116,400, and the share of Kazakhstan is $51,565.
