UAE's activity on Turkmenistan's exchange for July disclosed

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) participated in the auction of the State Commodity Exchange and Raw Material of Turkmenistan in July, Trend reports with reference to exchange’s data.
In the first week of July, the UAE purchased cotton yarn and dry extract of licorice root in Turkmenistan in foreign currency. In addition, entrepreneurs from the UAE bought cotton yarn and handmade carpets for the Turkmen manat.
During the second week of July, businessmen from the UAE purchased smooth-dyed and jacquard Terry products, denim and cotton yarn in foreign currency. Handmade carpets, licorice root extract and cotton yarn were purchased for the Turkmen manat.
Over the next two weeks, entrepreneurs from the UAE purchased cotton yarn and carpet products for the Turkmen manat, as well as diesel fuel and petroleum coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries in foreign currency.
Transactions in the total amount of more than $57.8 million were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan in June.
During the reporting month, the country has registered transactions both in foreign currency and in Turkmen manat. In particular, transactions worth more than $73,369 were made in foreign currency and more than 202.3 million for Turkmen manat ($57.7 million).
The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
