Iranian fisheries company interested in exporting their products to Turkmenistan

Iranian Shilat (Fisheries Company) is interested in supplying its products to the Turkmen market, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

The company intends to supply different types of caviar and fish, fish feed, as well as fish oil in the composition with omega-3 syrup.

In addition, the company expressed a desire to create a trade and exhibition house of iran's marine products in Turkmenistan.

The Iranian company seeks to cooperate with the business community of Turkmenistan on the issues of technological and technical support for the organization of fisheries, engineering and technical maintenance of places where seafood and fish are grown, and the development of aquaculture, said the report.

The two countries have accumulated a lot of experience working together. This included projects both implemented and planned, designed to contribute to increasing trade and economic cooperation between Central Asian and Middle Eastern states.

Turkmenistan and Iran border on the Caspian Sea and have a long land border. Over the years of long-term cooperation, the countries have implemented a number of large-scale joint projects. In addition to border gas pipelines, the Dostluk (Friendship) dam was jointly built by the two countries.
