Construction of new apartments across Iran's towns going full speed
TEHRAN, Iran, Sept.22
Iran has started the construction of 115,000 apartments (out of planned 200,000 in the national housing plan), said th New Towns Construction Company, Trend reports via ILNA.
Deputy Minister Iran's Ministry Roads and Urban Development Habibollah Taherkhani held a meeting with the company's representatives and the officials of the towns where the construction is going on, to review the progress withing the plan.
It is expected that 200,000 apartments would be built.
The statistics say that related projects in the housing sector have already started: some 1,850 apartments have been built in Andishe city, 7,141 apartments in Parand, 3,389 in Pardis, 8,478 in Hashtgerd, and 13,471 in new town of Fooladshahr.
Other construction projects in new towns that have either started or getting ready to start include 4,238 apartments in new town of Baharestan, 2,700 apartments in Golbahar, 500 apartments in new town of Binaloud, 3,946 in Sadra, 2,547 apartments in Sahand, 1,00 apartments in Amir Kabir, 500 apartments in Shirin Shahr, 1,000 apartments in new city of Ramin and 3,000 apartments in new town of Eyvanaki.
The meeting has reviewed the contracts, the process of constructing projects, the latest status of applicants' registration in every new town.
