Uzbek commodity exchange trading floor opened in Ukraine

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 23

A trading platform of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange was opened in Kyiv, Ukraine, Trend reports referring to the press service of Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan.

The opening of the trading floor, which was founded by the Ukrainian TRADE-BB, took place during the visit of the delegation of the Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan to Ukraine.

Currently, the marketplace has received the first offer from a foreign client for the supply of 500 tons of vegetable oil to Uzbekistan.

In total, the Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Uzbekistan already has 15 of its trading floor abroad.

Foreign trading platforms are centers of trade at a distance, united into a single electronic trading system. They give entrepreneurs the right and opportunity to freely participate in exchange trading and independently register exchange contracts.

Earlier it was reported that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of a recent business visit of the Uzbek delegation to Ukraine.

The parties agreed on information interaction and assistance in the development of trade and economic cooperation between business entities of the two countries.

In addition, the agreement is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the business community of Ukraine for the sale in the commodity market of Uzbekistan of the demanded products of Ukrainian commodity producers, using the tools and mechanisms of electronic exchange trading.
