TEHRAN, Iran, Nov.24

Trend:

The Iranian government has approved to assign $3.5 billion from resources in subsidiary companies of the Oil Ministry, to complete unfinished projects on gas supply to villages, said Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabie, Trend reports via IRNA.

"It has also been approved in the budget plan that municipalities could use the mentioned funds to reconstruct the rural parts of cities and infrastructure, as well as provide services to people," he said.

"So far 80 percent of villages in the country have clean water delivered via pipelines and the remaining part is delivered by tankers. It is planned that in the new Iranian year (starts March 21,2021) all the villages will have access to clean drinking water," he said.
