Uzbekistan starts import of Udmurt dairy products

Ultra-pasteurized dairy products and ice cream with a total weight of 1,500 tons are planned to be delivered from Udmurtia (federal subject of Russia) to Uzbekistan in 2021, Trend reports referring to the press service of The Ministry of agriculture of Udmurtia.

A batch of 21 tons of ultra-pasteurized milk was produced specifically for export purposes, each package is provided with a sticker in Uzbek language.

Milk will be exported by the Milkom and the Komos Group management companies in Udmurtia.

“The enterprises have passed accreditation with the Rosselkhoznadzor, for agreeing on the terms of the contract with the importer in order to be able to export products to Uzbekistan,” the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture said.

The batch was produced by the Kazan Dairy Plant, which has been operating as the sixth production site of the sub-holding since 2017.

Currently, the enterprise in Kazan is renovating production sites and infrastructure facilities to increase the production capacity of the enterprise to 1,000 processed milk per day. Earlier, a new fermentation shop was opened here, where beneficial bacteria for fermented milk drinks are removed under strict conditions.

According to the information, the Udmurt milk will arrive in Uzbekistan within a week.
