Export orders worth $41.1 million were implemented via the Azerbaijani Azexport portal in November 2020, which is 25 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the review, Azexport implemented export orders worth $553.3 million from January through November 2020.
For 47 months of its activity, the Azexport portal has fulfilled orders for the supply of non-oil products from Azerbaijan in the amount of nearly $1.14 billion to 142 countries in the world.
In November this year, the TOP-10 goods exported through the Azexport portal were the following ones: cosmetics, milk powder, eggs, flour, potatoes, tobacco, butter, hazelnuts, cotton, and cottonseed oil.
Azexport portal (www.azexport.az) was created by order of the head of state ‘On the creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan’ dated September 21, 2016.
The portal is functioning under the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication. Its goal is to provide information on the goods of Azerbaijani origin. This portal is an effective platform for the sale of these goods in the foreign and domestic markets.
