A number of facilities, shops, a restaurant, and a trading house in Turkmenistan will be sold to members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s State News Agency.
The relevant decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
According to the decree of the Turkmen president, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan is ordered to implement the relevant sales.
As reported, Turkmenistan has prepared a list of a number of state-owned objects that are subject to privatization.
The list was prepared by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan together with subordinate organizations, municipal administrations of regions, and the capital of Turkmenistan, after analysis.
Turkmenistan has achieved the growth of a socially-oriented economic sphere, which is based on various forms of ownership and provides for a gradual transition to market relations.
In order to deepen reforms in this area on the basis of the active introduction of effective methods of management, the formation of different structures of ownership in the management of enterprises of branches of the national economy is gradually privatized.
The steps taken in this direction contribute to an increase in the share of the non-state sector of the national economy.
