With the help of the state program "Produce in Georgia" and with the assistance of the Georgian Embassy in Japan, Aromaproducts LLC exported Georgian kiwi to the Japanese market, Trend reports via Georgian media.
According to the agency Produce in Georgia, the Japanese delegation will arrive in Georgia to increase the export of Georgian products to Japan. The Japanese side also intends to launch an active campaign to promote Georgia as an interesting direction for the business.
The agency will be involved in the process of supporting this campaign together with the Georgian Embassy in Japan.
Aromaproducts company took part in the Gulfood 2021 exhibition on February 21-25, 2021, organized by the Produce in Georgia Agency with the support of the USAID Agricultural Program, along with other Georgian companies.
In 2020, Georgia exported kiwi only to Russia and Japan. As for imports, Georgia bought the largest amount of kiwi in 2020 from Iran and Turkey.
