VTB Bank Kazakhstan increases funds to support working capital replenishment of KCELL

Kazakhstan’s KCELL, which is a mobile telecommunications services provider, and VTB Bank Kazakhstan have signed an agreement to increase the value of credit limit, Trend reports citing the Bank.

The limit of the credit provided to the KCELL by the bank will be increased from six billion tenge to seven billion tenge ($14.1 million to $16.4 million).

The term of the credit line is until October 15, 2023, with an interest payment of 10.7 percent per annum. The company intends to use the funds received to replenish working capital.

Kcell provides mobile voice telecommunications services, messaging services, value-added services such as multimedia and mobile content services, as well as data transmission services including internet access.

It has two brands: the Kcell brand, which is targeted primarily at corporate subscribers (including government subscribers), and the Activ brand, which is targeted primarily at mass-market subscribers.

The Company offers its services through its extensive, high-quality network, which covers substantially all of the populated territory of Kazakhstan.
