Georgia exported 131,056 tons of copper to China worth $235.1 million from January through June 2021, Trend reports referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
In the reporting period, Georgia also exported 1,954 tons of fresh grapes worth $7.48 million to China.
Meanwhile, 37.7 tons of medical equipment and appliances worth $9.6 million were exported from Georgia to China.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported 2,106 tons of unwrought aluminum in the amount of $4.4 million to China.
Georgia also exported 4,086 tons of precious metals and concentrates worth $21.4 million to China.
During the reporting period, Georgia exported products worth $289.8 million to the Chinese market, which is 15.4 percent of total exports from Georgia.
Meanwhile, China's exports to Georgia amounted to $362.7 million, which comprises 8.4 percent of total imports to Georgia.
