National projects, which were conceptually approved by the President of Kazakhstan at a meeting of the Supreme Council for Reforms on September 24, 2021, were considered at a government meeting chaired by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, Trend reports citing the government of Kazakhstan.

According to the information, minister of national economy Aset Irgaliev, agriculture minister - Yerbol Karashukeyev, ecology, geology and natural resources minister - Serikkali Brekeshev, digital development, innovation and aerospace industry minister - Bagdat Mussin, education, and science minister - Askhat Aimagambetov, health minister - Alexey Tsoi, information and social development minister - Aida Balayeva, Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms Kairat Kelimbetov made presentations.

"In his Address to the people of Kazakhstan dated September 1, 2020, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, instructed to ensure the transition from state programs to national projects. A lot of work has been done within the framework of the new State Planning System," Mamin said.

The national projects include Sustainable economic growth, Development of entrepreneurship, Strong regions - the driver of the country's development, the National project for the development of the agro-industrial complex for 2021-2025, ‘Green Kazakhstan, Technological breakthrough due to digitalization, innovations, and science, Quality education 'Educated nation', Quality and affordable health care for every citizen 'Healthy nation', 'Ulttyk Rukhani Zhagyru'.

The Prime Minister noted that the measures envisaged in the national projects are fully consistent with the instructions of the head of state and the tasks set in the electoral program of the Nur Otan party.

It is noted that the implementation of national projects will become a factor in further increasing the stability and competitiveness of the economy, improving the quality of life of Kazakhstan's people. In order to achieve the set tasks, priority financing of national projects is provided at the expense of budget funds and private investments.

In addition, it is reported that the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin instructed to ensure the high-quality implementation of national projects using project-based approaches.
