Iran's exports to Kazakhstan up

Iran's exports to Kazakhstan increased by 28 percent in terms of value and 95 percent in terms of volume, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

The customs official stressed that Iran's exports to Kazakhstan for 6 months amounted to 227,000 tons worth $78.6 million.

“In addition, Iran imported 802,000 tons of goods from Kazakhstan worth about $235 million within the mentioned period,” he added.

Latifi noted that the imports increased by 137 percent in terms of value and 135 percent in terms of volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

As reported, Iran exported 60 million tons of goods worth $21.8 billion during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021).

Iran's exports increased by 61 percent in terms of value and 30 percent in terms of volume, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

In addition, Iran imported 19.1 million tons of goods worth $23.1 billion within the mentioned period. Iran's imports increased by 37 percent in terms of value and 15 percent in terms of value, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
