Kazakhstan increases manufacturing of oil equipment

Kazakhstan has manufactured spare parts for drilling, tunneling, excavating machines and cranes for a total of 13.5 billion tenge ($31.8 million) over the period from January through September 2021, which is 21.5 percent more than during the same period of last year, Trend reports citing Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

The committee said that the manufacturing of spare parts for drilling, tunneling, excavating machines, and cranes in September alone equaled 1.7 billion tenge ($4.1 million), which is 31.4 percent more than during the same month of last year.

Oilfield equipment manufacturing stood at 12.7 billion tenge ($30.05 million) over 9M2021, which is 2.7 percent more than during the same period of last year. Oilfield equipment production in September stood at 1.7 billion tenge ($4.1 million), which is 47.1 percent more than during the same period of last year.

Furthermore, the manufacturing of oil and gas processing equipment amounted to 318.4 million tenge ($$749,300) over the first nine months of 2021, which is 13.4 times more than during 9M2020.

Manufacturing of oil and gas processing equipment amounted to 20.3 million tenge ($48,000) in September 2021, which also is 21 times more than during the same month of 2020.
