The Turkmen Glass Production Enterprise (Turkmenaynaonumleri) exported more than 700,000 square meters of sheet glass in the first nine months of 2021, which is significantly more than last year, Trend reports citing Turkmenistan’s Golden Age online newspaper.
The products are exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
The existing capacities of the enterprise allow the annual production of one million square meters of sheet glass, 100,000 square meters of laminated glass, 400,000 double-glazed windows and a wide range of glass containers - 15 types of various containers for the food and medical industries.
The plant launched lines for the production of single-chamber and double-chamber double-glazed windows for window frames and facades, for lamination with the use of polyvinyl butyl film to create safe display glass, and other materials.
