BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Iran exported a total of 203,307 tons of goods worth $47,176,412 to Azerbaijan through the Bilasuvar customs in the Ardabil Province, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), according the official statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) obtained by Trend.

The main exported goods through Bilasuvar customs for the reporting period were agricultural products, industrial products, furniture, mining products, petrochemical products and etc.

“In addition, Iran imported about 755 tons of goods worth $421,684 from Azerbaijan through Iran's Bilasuvar customs within last Iranian year,” the statistics said.

The imported goods were mainly pipes, compressed soybeans, necessary equipment for greenhouses and etc.

In total, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan for the last Iranian year amounted to about 852,000 tons worth about $608 million.

The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 93 percent in value compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
