BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 7. In general, 336,000 tons of non-oil products worth about $245 million were exported from Iran’s Gilan Province, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2022), Supervisor of Gilan Province Customs Office Sadegh Barzegar told IRIB, Trend reports.
According to Barzegar, the province’s non-oil exports for the reporting period increased by 22 percent in value, while decreased by 4 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The official added that the main exported goods were various plants, mining products, foodstuff, textile and rubber products.
“The mentioned goods were exported to Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Belarus, Afghanistan and other countries,” he said.
