TEHRAN, Iran, August 22. The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped by 8,920 points to 1.429 million, on August 21, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 5.4 billion shares valued at $0.7 billion changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Chadermelo Co., Golgohar industrial company, Khuzestan Steel company Mobarakeh Steel company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co., and Mines and Metals Development Investment Company had the most negative impact on TSE.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped 56 points, reaching 18,960.
