The Azerbaijani specialists got familiar with the experience of new technologies of agriculture production in an international conference in Tashkent, the Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
Organized by the ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas) the forum brought together specialists from the Scientific-Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry and the Institute of Erosion of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
The Agriculture Ministry said that delegates from Azerbaijan informed the participants on current state of agrarian sector of Azerbaijan and delivered papers on the work done in this sector.
The conference discussed the role of technologies in the production of agriculture production, efficiency of application of new technologies in increase of the amount of production.
