Special commission established at Veterinary Service to struggle with bird flu
On Monday a special commission was established at the decision of the State Veterinary Service under the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry to struggle with bird flu, Yolchu Khanveli, the spokesman of the Service, told Trend.
According to Khanveli, the commission consists of specialists and scientists, who will participate in monitoring acts to control the situation in the country.
Representatives of media may be involved in the work of the commission in case of need, the spokesman said.
The commission will include mobile groups, which will take urgent measures in case of revealing of bird flu. The comparison of the commission will be approved soon.
The special commission, earlier established from the representatives of Health Ministry, Ecology Ministry, Hunters Society and Veterinary Service, holds 8th monitoring in line.
The previous monitoring acts did not reveal any signs of the virus in Azerbaijan.
