The Azerbaijani ministry of Finances has handed over the production of the documentary stamps for all produced in Azerbaijan and imported alcohol and tobacco produce to the Lithuanian company, Garsu Pasaulis, though the tender has been won by the Ukrainian polygraph factory

The reason was in the decline of the Ukrainian factory to perform the whole order due to the coming elections in Ukraine, the Ministry told Trend. Thus, the Ukrainian factory is overloaded with orders and unable to finish the Azerbaijani order in time. The order was given to the company winning the second place and a contract has already been signed.

Ukrainians demanded $1617000 and promised to complete the works in 8-12 weeks, whereas, Garsu Pasaulis asks for 1620000 EURO and approximately 1 month of time.

The company has to prepare 50m documentary stamps for beer, 20m for alcohol beverages, 200m for tobacco produce, 10m for imported beer, alcohol and tobacco.

The other participants of tender were British company Optaglio, and German -Giesecke & Devrient
