Commission of Azeri Ministry of Finance defined the winner of tender for printing 3 mln tax invoice forms. The tender won Chashioglu of Azerbaijan. Trend reports quoting Azer Bayramov, chairman of Commission, these invoices shall be delivered to VAT payer companies by Jun 15, and up to this moment all financial departments in regions shall be provided with these forms.
Ministry of Finance worked out the rules and procedures for such invoices. These rules are to be approved in short, and serve the materials for trainings to be pursued by employees of local financial departments.
These invoices are delivered to taxpayers at nearly AZM 300 (6 gepik) at cost price AZM 280. The average market price of old invoices was AZM 350-450, and they lacked protection. Chashioglu is executing order at AZN 166,380.
New invoice forms are coming in effect July 1, 2006. The whole quantity of forms approximately covers Azerbaijans taxpayers need for one year. It is planned to call for a new tender in 1Q2007.
Apart from Chashioglu, two Azeri companies Caspian Supplies and Elnar LTD were participating in the tender.
