Within the Tacis project Assistance to the application of international standards in production of oil equipments, a training visit was paid to France with the participation of the head of Azneftkhimyamash JSC and three Azneftkhimyamash member-plans, Trend reports with reference to the national coordination bureau of Tacis.
The group included the department director of JSC Ali Garakhanov, the representatives of the department of Sabunchu scientific-production union, machine-building plant Baki fehlesi, Balahkani machine-building plant, coordinator of the project from beneficiary, as well as the head of the project group Paolo Bokaletti and the local coordinator of the project.
The participants of the visit held several meetings focusing on appointment of the directions of possible cooperation. In particular, during the visit to Lufkin Comelor, Azneftkhimyamash expressed interest in possible acquisition of reduction gears for Baki fehlesi.
The visit to Varel/Cristal Profor company, manufacturer of gouges, was very important for Balakhani machine-building plant.
The opportunities for the future cooperation were discussed in Lufkin Comelor and Varel/Cristal Profor, and Azneftkhimyamash voiced its intention to send an official invitation to those companies to pay a visit to Baku to continue the talks.
It was held a meeting in company AETS/APAVE with the director and manager of the project who expressed their satisfaction with the visit. The representatives of Azneftkhimyamash mentioned their interest in projects for specification of products of their and other plants within the program TACIS/ENP.
In the company Total, the group met with the vise-president on Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, and technical advisor. Total and Azneftkhimyamash presented information about their activities in the Caspian region.
The beneficiary highly assessed the results of the visit, noting that the visit was organized not only as a training visit, but also as an important working visit with the participation of Azneftkhimyamash and three plants. It is particularly noted that such visits assist in applying advanced experience in enterprises and organizing working visits and cooperation.
The Tacis project Assistance to the application of international standards in production of oil equipments with 500 thousand euros is realized within the National Action Program of Tacis. The project started on July 3, 2005. The period of the project is 18 months. The contractor of the project is the consortium of companies AETS-RENCO-ADAPTE (France).
