The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan has no plans on increasing tax duties in the country in the near future, Aydin Aliyev, Chairman of the Committee said today, Trend reports
According to him, the agreement on this issue has been reached with the International Monetary Fund.
The Head of the Committee said that the present agenda includes moving amendments to the Tax Code due to the introduction of new excise marks toward the sea carriers and auto transport.
If the Government considers it expedient, then excise marks on imported alcoholic drinks are likely to increase. We are about to prepare proposals on reduction of the number of preferences and submit them to the Government for further consideration, said Mr. Aliyev.
