Trend S.Babayeva / The State Veterinary Service of the Azerbaijan Agriculture Minister said that the results of the next monitoring on prevention of bird flu in the territory of Azerbaijan testified the absence of the virus of "bird flu". The laboratory examinations were held on the base of the pathologic materials taken from 30 heads of birds, 32 blood samples from wild birds and 586 heads of birds collected from various farmings. The virus was detected in none of them.
The next monitoring will be held on March 5 by a commission of specialists of the State Service, Health Ministry, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry and Society of Hunters on the territories of Pirallahi island, Absheron Peninsula, Davachi, Salyan, Aghdjabado, and Lankaran, as well as in the national parks, reserves, and coastal zone.
