Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The Government of Azerbaijan has been invited to attend the annual Bled Strategic Forum 'European Union 2020: Enlarging and Integrating' due on 26-27 August in the Slovenian city of Bled, said the Consul of Slovenia to Azerbaijan, Borut Megusar.
According to him, the Governmental delegation of Azerbaijan will be headed by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov. The event is expected to cover the issue of delivering energy resources from the Caspian region to Western Europe. The event will bring together influential business people worldwide, politicians as well as State and Government Heads of the region countries.
This year the Forum is expected to be attended by the President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili as well as Prime Ministers of Macedonia and Lithuania, Foreign Ministers of several European countries and representatives of international organizations.
