Babayeva / From the beginning of its activities, Aqrolizinq OJSC has purchased 555 combine-harvesters, 1,324 tractors and excavators, 2,920 different agriculture technologies, and 77,000t of mineral fertilizers at the expense of the public budget, according to Azerbaijani Agriculture Minister, Ismat Abbasov. The Minister reported this fact on 1 August during a meeting of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers, which was presided over by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and was dedicated to the results of social and economic development in the first half of 2007 and the upcoming tasks.
According to the Minister, the work on purchase of new technological faculties is in progress.
Agrolizing ОАО was established on 23 October 2004 in accordance with the order issued by President Ilham Aliyev. The purpose of the enterprise's activities is for improvement of the agrarian sector and support of entrepreneurship in the country through issuing better agricultural technology to local land owners through leasing. At present, ОАО operates in fifty-five agricultural engineering service branches and ten supply bases throughout Azerbaijan.
