Number of Flights via Baku-Ganja-Baku Route to be Increased

Azerbaijan, Ganja / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / Anvar Sadikhov, the Chief of the booking office of the airport in Ganja of the State concern of AZAL, has stated that the number of flights between Baku and Ganja will be increased. According to Sadikhov, presently, there are three flights via Baku-Ganja-Baku per day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The aircrafts TU-134 are used for the flights, with up to seventy-two passenger seats, but the number of people who wish to fly reaches 100 per flight.

The number of flights may be increased with the employment of new French ATR planes. The first fleet, which is planned to be around six planes, will be delivered to Baku in August. A ticket via Baku-Ganja costs AZN 4.26.
