Azerbaijan, Salyan / Trend corr. E. Mammadov / A modern milk processing plant with the daily capacity of 30t has been put into operation in Azerbaijan's Salyan region. According to the plant's Director, Bahman Huseynov, three manufacturers (cheese, kefir, and sour cream) are operating in the plant, equipped with European technology. Moreover, milk-reception units were established in four villages in the Salyan and Neftchala regions.
At present twenty-four people are employed at the plant. After the plant is operating at full capacity, an additional ten to fifteen people will be hired.
