Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Babayeva / The Azerbaijani Fund of Exports and Investment Promotions, is eager to increase the number of alliances of companies involved in Azerbaijan's industry.
Establishing an alliance of service companies in the oil sector is on the organization's agenda, Teymur Tagiyev, the head of the Export Department of AZPROMO said in a news conference on 7 September. The organization is planning on attracting companies from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to the alliance. In this respect the necessary work is done, a series of proposals is prepared based on US experts' information.
Tagiev said AZPROMO plans also to include the establishment of an alliance of construction companies in Azerbaijan.
So far, AZPROMO has established two alliances for the producers of juice and nuts.
