The level of shadow turnover of petroleum products reduced in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Financial Police Agency said today.
"The suppression of illicit trafficking of oil and oil products increased three-fold," the financial police's report as of six months of 2013 said.
According to the Kazakh Oil and Gas Ministry, oil of dubious origin, delivered only to the Atyrau refinery, decreased from 300,000 tons in 2010 to 1,500 tons this year.
